Achievement System

Outside of getting together, hanging out, being social and having fun, we’re also trying to use our time with Days of Goo to show you some of our greatest passions in the gaming world.  In order to facilitate this, we’re putting our very own achievement system into play and awarding the person with the most achievement points by the end of the weekend, a special prize!  We’re putting together a total of 2000 points worth of achievements, none of which will be hidden, but nearly all will be multi-player *wink*.  The 2000 points will be divided equally between social-based and game station-based objectives:

1000 – Social
The first goal is obviously to get together and have some fun, so all of these are tied to doing just that.  Some examples may include, “Play a complete game with someone you hadn’t met in person before the weekend,” or, “Help someone learn a game you already learned/knew how to play.”  Our community is fantastic, and this should come easy for everyone, be an active part of the weekend, and you’ll be that much closer to the prize.

1000 – Game Station
These points are going to be further divided among 10 different gaming options at 100 points a piece.  Those 100 points will be further divided into 3 categories: 50 points for trying the game, 30 points for doing reasonably well at the game, and 20 points for winning the game.  Thus, by participating in as much as you can, you’ll inevitably score a good number of points.  Be more active, get more points, lock down that sweet sweet prize!
